Heavy, but beautiful

"Heavy. The first thing I have to say about this doll is that it is very heavy. It may appear that 100 lbs isn't all that heavy, but the dead-weight of it makes is very heavy when moving the doll. When moving this doll, it seems best to raise the arms at a 45 degree angle upwards, move both legs into a sitting postion, and then bend the knees. This helps focus the weight toward the center of the doll and makes it easier to manage when lifting. The weight also makes it a bit hard to pose the doll as the joins are quite stiff. I want the doll to stay in position once posed, so I am not complaining that the joints are stiff. It will take two people to move the box into your residence. It is simply too cumbersome in the box to lift it by yourself. If you have to move it by yourself, I strongly recommend using a dolly. Beautiful. The doll has a great design and the face is very well done. The color of the face isn't the same as the body, but the difference it's much more than a woman that had powdered her face. The color variation doesn't make that much of a difference. The breasts are huge. I am very glad that they are hollow and not solid. Being hollow they have much more play to them and much less weight. They do make a rubber ball bouncing sound if you slap them. The rear end of this doll is great; wide, full butt cheeks and a narrow waist. Satisfied with purchase. Knowing what I know, I think I still would have purhased this doll. It is a wonderful thing. However, the weight of the doll does take away from my enjoyment. I will be purchasing another doll that weighs less. If you do not go to the gym to work out on a regular basis and lift weights, I would strongly suggest looking for dolls that weigh 70 lbs or less. 100 lbs is very hard to lift and move around when the weight is distributed in human configuration. I consider this doll a piece of work-out equipment as it really is a task to move it around. The weight is also an issue in posing the doll in some positions that I would like to be able to pose it. The arms are not made to support the weight of the torso. I am very glad that I went with the removable insert due to the doll's weight. However, when I purchase another, lighter doll, I will be going with the fix vagina. Negatives I can accept that the world isn't perfect. I also understand that the process of production of these dolls have only been around for so long. The right side of the doll was not finished as well as the left side of the doll. They did a really good job of trimming the flash at the seam on most of the doll except for the right arm and hand. The finishing on the right hand is exceptionally bad/poor. There were apparently some air bubbles in the molding. The most noticeable ones are between the vagina and anus; another between the breasts. The one between the breasts is the issue. The sheer weight of those awesome huge breasts laying down from the sides of the body (when the doll is laying on her back) pulled the bubble apart and, over time, the gap was widening. Using a 12-14" width of soft, white cloth I made a sling bra to go over the shoulders, around the neck, and around the sides and bottoms of the breast to keep them lifted up and together while the doll is laying on it's back (which is the suggested storage position). There are signs on the breasts that there was some handling of them and possible biting on them sometime between the completion of production and arrival at my house. I can't prove anything, but that appears to be the case from my observations. The inserts are poorly designed with minor texturing inside. I ordered two additional ones. Two were about 3/4 of the way deep, one has only half the depth of the length of the insert. These start out extremely tight and should definitely be warmed before use with the supplied warming device. This is a dark skinned doll, so you are going to get that ashy skin look when powdering the doll with corn starch or baby powder. Areas where the skin has had rough treatment are going to have more powder adhere then other places, so those places stand out when the doll is powdered (not so much when the doll is wet or freshly cleaned - It will, however, be tacky when freshly cleaned). Maintenance & Supplies There are things that you will need to maintain the doll that were not supplied with this doll. You will definitely need a large, soft make-up brush and baby powder or corn starch. I would suggest using the brush to pick up the product and apply it to the doll versus applying it to the doll by some method and then smoothing it with the brush. I would also highly suggest purchasing an aquarium air pump with tubing. It is hard to get air circulation for drying into the tight spots. It is essential to get these areas dried quickly after proper cleaning, and the air pump definitely dries the area quicker than the other methods that I have tried. And, yeah, you are going to need water-base lubricant and mild soap depending on how you intend to utilize the doll." - Tuesday, June 12, 2018
